Manikako is the fund-raising arm of the House of Comfort Art Network. A non-profit organization that advocates empowerment through art. It has been conducting art workshops as a means of self-expression and emotional outlet for children of unfortunate circumstances like poor living conditions, abusive home or physical illness. When ArtHOC crossed paths with a group of creative young minds, Manikako was born.
A Manikako is a handcrafted doll made out of donated scraps of cloth and notions. It’s much like a doll-shaped pillow that just begs for you to add color, love and story to it.
Become a medium for this advocacy. Interested in giving a helping hand? Or you just want to get rid of your old clothings? - Donate to Manikako and you achieve both.
